Horses...

 

Horses, I love them, I love to ride, I love to be around them. I have been rideing for about 11 years. My best friend (we have been friends since kindergarden) and I ride together. I have definently had some bad falls, i have fallen of the horse and on to the jump (that hurt alot). Another time i was rideing my friends horse bareback and i guess i wasnt paying attention and the whole bareback pad just fell off (me included). Suppriseingly even though i fell on my side and onto a rock it didn't really hurt. I have fallen countless times, one funny thing i remember is i was rideing english (im a western rider for the most part) and i was getting up on the saddle and i didnt tighten the girth (the thing that pretty much holds the saddle on the horse) and i got up on the saddle and then BOOM the saddle completely went from on top the horse to its stomach (and i hit the ground). I have decided im going to pick up rideing again, i took a break for about 2 years but continued to ride on and off. I think its time to give it a go again...

Art & Orchids

Above is a photo of my newly re-done room, i must say its a big inprovement compared to what it was.

These are two paintings i did back in the summer, they are  in my room but you cant see them and this picture dose not do the justice. The leopard is actually a copper/gold color not orange and the tiger is a copper/orange color not a red orange.

This drawing is of a senic lookout from up north that i took on the way to isle royal, my drawing teacher gave me a 91%, im not happy! thats the lowest grade i have gotten in that class!

This is just a little craft i did a few days ago, a cute tiny bird in a mason jar.

And last are my beautifle orchids i recieved for my birthday. They just look absolutely beautifle in my windowsill.

 To the left and right are my two new rabbits. To the left is Dumbo and to the right is Simba.  

 

Above is Bo, he will be 8 in a few weeks. <3

On September 26, 2011 my rabbit Izzy past away. She died while giveing birth. One of the babies (as far as i know) was stuck in her so she could not pass it. This offten causes something similar to a chemical reaction withing the rabbit. She will be missed. Even though she has passed away the addition of Dumbo and Simba have made things a little bit better.

Fall!

It is fall once again. My favorite time of year! All the leaves are starting to turn colors and since its fall it means that its almost time for the annual Pigeon River trip.

Cant wait!

Butterflys and Hummingbird Moths

 These photos were taken at the nature centers butterfly garden, i have to say the butterfly garden is absolutely terrific! In the top right is a hummingbird moth, to the left is a silver spotted skipper, and in the middle is a yellow swallow tail.

 The goats have not appered in my blog lately so i felt they needed a post all to  themselves. So here are some funny goat pictures for you to enjoy. In the middle Lily and Daisy are showing there love for the shovel.
